Researchers here show that life started to appear 2 billion years ago, that is 1.5 billion years earlier than the widely agreed date within the research community up until now.
Our software DigiXCT, in its multi-GPUs configuration, was prone to meet the demanding innovation needs of an internationally-renowned research team, not to mention getting ultrafast microtomographic reconstruction speeds to speed up even more the overall process of this important discovery.
